We’re thrilled to share some exciting news about the recent addition to our fleet at Kilcullen Canoe Club - brand-new SUP boards, made possible through funding from Kildare Sports Partnership, matched by the club itself! These boards have already become a staple of our paddling adventures on the River Liffey since their arrival. They’re perfect for exploring the serene stretches of the river, cruising to our picturesque little rapids, and paddling back for a refreshing and fun workout. Since introducing these SUP boards, the club has seen incredible enthusiasm from members and the local community. We’re proud to announce that we recently held a SUP assessment, and eight members achieved their Level 2 SUP certificate! This is a fantastic milestone, showcasing the growing skills and confidence of our paddlers. We’re so grateful for the support that made these boards a reality. They’ve not only enhanced our paddling experience but also brought more opportunities for training, development, and sheer enjoyment on the water. If you haven’t had a chance to try them out yet, what are you waiting for? Come join us and see why everyone is loving these SUP boards! Stay tuned for more updates and events as we continue to make the most of this amazing addition to our club. 🌊 Let’s keep paddling forward! |
